Zappi is a self-custodial Bitcoin and dollar wallet for people and agents. You hold the keys on your device. You can send Bitcoin and dollars. Sends to anyone on Zappi are free. Fund a separate wallet called an agent pot when an agent should spend. Your main wallet is not drained.

## How an agent spends from a pot

1. Open the wallet. Create a wallet once, or import the one you already have.
2. Fund a pot. Move funds into a separate wallet, or top it up from a supported network.
3. Agent uses CLI / skill to spend from the pot. You stay signed in. With approval, you keep the pot key. The agent asks. Without approval, the agent creates the pot. You attach the address.

An agent pot is a second wallet. It stays apart from your dollars and Bitcoin, so a problem there can’t reach your main wallet. Agents spend only what you put in, with the Zappi CLI (propose, pay, consume, request, pot attach). Your main keys stay yours. A zero balance just means it is empty. If you require approval, you keep the pot key on your device. The agent never receives it. If you do not, the agent creates the key. You only attach the address. You stay signed in either way.

### How does an agent spend from a pot?

Open or import the wallet. Fund a pot. Let the agent spend with the Zappi CLI (@zappimoney/zappi-cli) or the agent skill. If you keep the pot key, the agent asks. Nothing leaves until you approve that payment. If the agent creates the pot, you attach the address while you are signed in. It can pay without asking each time. A bot working on its own can make an address and spend from the CLI without opening the site.
